FEATURED PRESS RELEASE
International Women’s Day 2026
Location: Abuja, Nigeria
Date: March 8, 2026
In a powerful convergence of faith, leadership, and women empowerment, Evang. Dr. Princess Onyinyechi Ozoemelam officially launched the Rebirth of the African Woman Movement, a continental, faith-driven initiative dedicated to restoring identity, activating prosperity, and building sustainable legacy for African women.
Timed to coincide with International Women’s Day, the launch marks a bold shift from conversations about women’s survival to intentional action toward ownership, leadership, and institutional influence.
The African woman is not broken — she is buried. Rebirth is the awakening of her voice, her value, and her power.
Evang. Dr. Princess Onyinyechi Ozoemelam, Founder & Convener
THE MOVEMENT
The Rebirth of the African Woman Movement is structured as a long-term institutional ecosystem operating across four core pillars:
Identity Restoration – rebuilding confidence, voice, and purpose
Faith Activation – leveraging praise, spirituality, and values as tools for transformation
Economic Empowerment – promoting ownership, entrepreneurship, and financial capacity
Leadership & Advocacy – influencing policy, systems, and governance
The Movement integrates faith-based leadership, women’s rights advocacy, and economic empowerment, positioning African women as key drivers of national and continental development.
FROM PRAISE TO POWER
At the heart of the Movement is the belief that faith and prosperity are not opposing forces, but complementary tools for sustainable impact.
Through its programs and platforms, Rebirth seeks to move women:
From dependency to ownership
From visibility to influence
From survival to legacy
The official launch featured a Praise & Prosperity Service, the unveiling of the Rebirth Manifesto, and a keynote address titled: From Praise to Power: The Rebirth of the African Woman
